Object of Affection
I have a tendency to leave an endearing and memorable impression with most I meet. Having a brilliant life, I am thankful I have wonderful friends to share it with. Quite often I am teased for having decadent tastes and hedonistic tendencies, but I tend to think that I just live a wholesome life peppered with a few modest luxuries. I enjoy good food, good music, good spaces, good people... Essentially I lean towards quality rather than quantity, but not always.
Romantic to a fault, more gracious than charming, and not so chivalrous as courteous; I am just me. I like to make people in my life feel special, because they are.
I would like to meet someone genuine, sweet, thoughtful, romantic and attractive to go out on dates with and spend time getting to know. Ideally, would really like to find another good egg to nest with, but I know it most likely won't happen overnight.
Where do you like to hang out? Vessel, The Coterie Room, SIFF Uptown, Seattle Architecture Foundation, Tilikum Place Cafe, Frye Art Museum, Spur, Myrtle Edwards Park, Seattle Asian Art Museum, Liberty, Lakeview Cemetery, Sun Liquor Distillery, McCaw Hall, Zig Zag, Benaroya Hall, The Finerie, Knee High, NWFF, Whole Foods, Tavern Law, Town Hall, Rob Roy & The Sitting Room
What kind of person are you attracted to? True gentlemen; courteous, considerate, chivalrous and very keen social graces. Guys who posses a sharp intellect and keen judgement on when to display it.
In terms of looks: Great smiles. Prominent cheekbones, sharp or soft. As well as some sort of facial hair. Also, I find that confidence tempered by a bit of modesty is one of the sexiest things in a guy.
What's something you want to do but haven't? ride an elephant in Ayutthya, view the cherry blossoms in Kyoto, kiss in Bohemia, attend an opera in Manaus and behold Victoria Falls.
My radio dial is usually tuned to: 94.9 KUOW/NPR or Classic KING FM 98.1
If I could change one thing about Seattle, it would be: extending the monorail.
One book everyone should read is: "A Natural History of the Senses" by Diane Ackerman
I want to make a t-shirt that says Handle with Care
My idea of a great date is good food, great conversation and a handheld moonlit stroll around the neighborhood.
My guiltiest pleasure is just one more cocktail...
One night stands can be surprising.
The quickest way to my heart is compassion & chivalry. The quickest way to my bed is a dashing smile and a bottle of Chartreuse. And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked sunnyside up, please.
The last show I saw was "Le Sacre du printemps"
Great sex calls for lots of time.
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm reading the NYT or having brunch at Tilikum Place Cafe.
When I was a kid, I actually owned a 6' long, 135 gallon aquarium.
