Funniest Thing: www.yearbookyourself.com

Expires on 11/25. Act now!

Hi, how's it going? Well, let's see...like most folks in Seattle, I'm a transplant. I moved here from NY about 8 years ago and I kinda dig it. I love living in a city that has a lot to offer and is so close to the mountains and ocean. I'm not sure if I'll be here forever, but I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

I'm looking for someone fun to hang out with. If we click and feel some sparks, awesome. If we don't get passed the friendship stage, no problem. Friends are great. I'm a pretty down to earth guy with a great sense of humor. I'm 99.99% sure I can make you laugh, or at least chuckle. I can be sarcastic at times, but it's always meant to be in fun. Don't hesitate to dish it back. That being said, I'm also a very caring, considerate person and I'll bend over backwards to help someone out. I'm pretty active and spend lots of time outside: cycling, mountaineering, hiking/backpacking, snowboarding (backcountry and in-bounds), climbing, etc. But I do have a lazy, sleep-in-on-Sunday side, too. It just depends on how I'm feeling. I like to travel but haven't done as much as I'd like. I plan on hitting the lottery soon, though, so that should take care of everything.

What kind of person am I looking for? Well, here are a few traits that would be nice, but they're not all required: sincere; down to earth; funny/good sense of humor (this is kind of a big one for me); mischievous (just a bit); active; independent (but not distant); sexy (hell yeah!); 'lil bit naughty; etc. Cute would be good, too :) It's ok if you don't have "it" all figured out, i.e. life. I sure as hell don't. As long as you can take care of yourself, have a roof over your head, some clothes on your back, and have some interests/direction/ideas, you're fine.

Ok, I've gone on long enough. If any of this sounds good to you, or if you just find me ridiculously adorable (understandable), shoot me a message or "flirt." Let's grab a beer and see what happens.

Deeper

What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? That, being a New Yorker, I've never visited the Statue of Liberty. One of these days...

If you could have a dinner party and invite any 4 people, dead or alive, who'd be coming? The Dalai Lama, Randy Rhodes, Bill Clinton (?!), Christopher Walken (with cowbell)

What kind of person are you attracted to? Funny; down to earth; caring; active; healthy; honest; not prudish, but not a full-on tramp, either-somewhere in between; laid back; someone w/ a good sense of humor; someone pasionate about something; someone who can challenge me (mentally, physically, etc.)

What's something you want to do but haven't? There are a few things, actually (does anyone have just one?): travel more; get a dog; learn an instrument (maybe); learn to surf; go white-water kayaking; get my diving certification; bike across the country; climb Denali; get my masters degree.

What songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? Not sure about the actual songs, but the bands would be: BRMC, Kinski, Voyager One, The Valley, Kasabian, Lyrics Born, Blue Scholars, Chemical Brothers, Royksopp, The Rapture, Sigur ros, Kinky, Le Tigre, Alexi Murdoch, Kings of Leon, Antibalas, LCD Soundsystem, Gomez, Flaming Lips, Ms. Led, Beck, Grateful Dead (yeah, that's right), and many, many more.

My radio dial is usually tuned to: KEXP, AM 1090 (Air America)

If I could change one thing about Seattle, it would be: Transportation, of course. And the crappy drivers. And a bit more sun. That's three things. Whatever...

One book everyone should read is: The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

One movie everyone should see is: One (yes, that's a movie title)

Ever have a Jerry Springer moment minus the cameras? Oh, of course.

What bands do you always find yourself talking shit about? Dave Matthews Band...ugh.

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be: very frustrating.

Fill It

I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are mean people and conservatives/Republicans.

If I could take back one thing I said this week it would be I'll have it done by Friday.

Design your ideal mate: the brain of Stephanie Miller and the body of Adriana Lima

I want to make a t-shirt that says Broken Glass Sucks

My idea of a great date is good conversation, laughter, a few drinks, maybe some music, a little making out, etc.

Something I said I'd never do but did anyway was buy a CD at Starbucks. Bleh.

My picture(s) reveal that I am wearing a tie, outside, and that the Space Needle is growing out of my left shoulder.

My guiltiest pleasure is Ice cream, peanut butter, and/or beer.

The first section I turn to in the Stranger is Last Days

When stuck in gridlock I try to keep it together.

The last show I saw was Ghostland Observatory

A fault my friends tease me about is being late and/or procrastinating

Great sex calls for lots of chemistry, trust, adventure, experimentation, noise, and sweat.

The quickest way to my heart is humor, doing nice things for me, and ice cream. The quickest way to my bed is to seduce me, or just be blunt. And in the morning, I like my eggs cooked ...yeah, cooked. Raw eggs are gross.

It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm having coffe and breakfast or cycling, snowboarding, climbing a mountain, or playing around somewhere.

One sport I will never get is Nascar. Golf sucks, too.

The last time I made an ass out of myself, I did a good job.

When I die, I believe I will go somewhere nice.

For delicious results, add one part gin and mix it with one part tonic

When I was a kid, I actually owned a An Ernie doll (of Bert and Ernie) with no pants. Disturbing...
