Big heart, big dogs
I'm pretty fortunate to have what I'd consider a sweet life. I LOVE what I do for a living, and when you can look forward to going to work every day, it just does not get more awesome than that. I have a supportive family and super cool friends that mean the world to me. I have an intense passion for music of all kinds (punk, ska, and 80's music are closest to my heart). I play piano and guitar, and I was the lead singer of a semi-cheesy cover band back in the olden days when I was in school. My other greatest passion in life is animals, and I have three dogs that are the stars in my sky. I am a HUGE movie fan, especially film noir, 80's horror flicks, and anything by David Lynch. I am originally from NYC but moved west about 10 years ago in search of a more laid-back kind of people (New Yorkers can be kind of intense, in case you hadn't heard). When I get fired up about something, the New York girl in me comes out (accent and all, even.) Life is good, and now all I need is someone to share it all with: walking on the beach at Lincoln Park or Shilshole, going for dinner at the latest hot spot in Ballard or drinks at my favorite dive bars in Georgetown, catching a movie at Cinerama or a show at the Showbox, watching my favorite shows on Netflix (Dexter, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead). I'm honest, kind, and drama-free, but I am also goofy, sarcastic, and a whole lot of fun.
What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? I have many tattoos
Where do you like to hang out? Georgetown, Ballard, Capitol Hill
What kind of person are you attracted to? Edgy, but with a good, kind heart. Lots of tattoos. Intelligent and passionate.
How far will you travel to meet the right person? Seattle proper -- I'm a city girl through and through (the 'burbs make me nervous).
What's something you want to do but haven't? Travel to South America, Australia, and the Far East
If I could change one thing about Seattle, it would be: How everyone completely freaks out when it snows and the roads are never cleared properly. We are so ill-equipped here for snow, and yet it always seems a surprise every year.
One book everyone should read is: Slaughterhouse-Five
Who would you like to play you in the movie of your life? Who would probably get the part instead? Rose McGowan, but it would probably go to Alyssa Milano.
One thing about Seattle I would never change is: The natural beauty of the city, and the cool quirkiness of the people.
One movie everyone should see is: Mulholland Drive
If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be: Chinese food from Snappy Dragon
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are not loving animals and a bad temper
Something I learned from the last person I dated is you should never have to change who you are to make someone love you more
Design your ideal mate: the brain of David Lynch and the body of David Beckham
My picture(s) reveal that I am a dog lover
My idea of a great date is dinner in Ballard and a concert at the Showbox
The first section I turn to in the Stranger is the concert calendar
When stuck in gridlock I sing along to Journey on my iPod
My guiltiest pleasure is cheesy 80's music
The last show I saw was The Queers at El Corazon
Great sex calls for lots of attention to detail
A fault my friends tease me about is how much I love my dogs
It's Sunday morning at 10 a.m. If I'm not still sleeping, I'm walking my dogs
When I was a kid, I actually owned a pair of rollerskates that required a "key"
