I am a fan of: t-shirts from woot.com, the Green Bay Packers, Jack Skellington, the yoga pose Pinca Mayurasana, playing piano, microbrews, Hopvine, Maneki, Full Tilt Ice Cream, Ruby Beach, Manzanita, and San Francisco.
And then there is cycling...My hiking buddy moved to California so I turned to biking. I seek out the hills in my neighborhood. While they aren't quite the same as a mountain slope, they are fun to climb nonetheless.
I work for a social service program which recently received a Federal Grant for promoting Early Literacy. Helping young children expand their vocabularies and gain pre-reading skills is very rewarding. Watching them eat public school food...not so much.
I've been told that I'm low maintenance and I am seeking the same. Working part-time at a theater offers me enough drama! I am independent and do not shy away from pursuing my own interests, but it would be great to have a partner with whom to explore the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
What is something that people are surprised to find out about you? I started out a music major and have classical piano chops and I can write in cursive on an Etch-a-Sketch.

What songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? Favorite bands/artists: Beach House, the Woodentops, Tame Impala, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Nazz, the Smiths, vintage REM, Uncle Tupelo, Wilco, Frank Sinatra, Big Band music, the Pogues, traditional Irish music, the Clean, Quasi, the Wrens, Guns N' Roses, the Jayhawks, Jeff Buckley, Dead Can Dance, Built to Spill, Big Star, Cat Power
What's something you want to do but haven't? Learn to play the accordion and make a return trip to Ireland
One movie everyone should see is: a tie between The Princess Bride and Amelie
Something I learned from the last person I dated is to enjoy the present moment.
I consider myself an open-minded person, but my deal breakers are dishonesty and lying
