I'm quirky, playful, and like to think I'm witty and funny. Hopefully it's true. I'm hilarious to myself at least.
I like whiskey. A lot.
Dancing in random places with my friends in flash mobs is one of my favorite things to do. I also like to lindy. I constantly have a song in my head and feel like there is an unheard soundtrack of music accompanying my life. I love geeking out over music with someone and being exposed to new, great bands. Who are your favorites?
I know who I am and what I like. I don't try to be someone I'm not. I can be a bit sassy and sarcastic. I like playful bantering.
I enjoy reading and get quite excited when I find mistakes in books (which I'll often correct even if it's a library book). Call me a rebel, I know.
I like to go on adventures. I'd love to take off for a day with someone special and go explore one of the islands or a place neither of us have been. I'm a planner but I also like being spontaneous and I heart surprises. I'm a giving person and I'm looking for someone who is also giving. Someone who is witty, kind, ambitious, and passionate, topped with some geekiness and playfulness. Is that you?
Where do you like to hang out? Liberty, Smith, Century Ballroom, Victrola, Remedy Teas, coffee shops, Grim's, anywhere fun or new with friends
What kind of person are you attracted to? I'm a fan of people who love music, books, films, seeing the good in people, who have a quirky sense of humor and quick wit, and who have eyes that smile when they smile. I like people who are playful and genuine. I love being able to banter back and forth with people who don't take themselves too seriously and can be sarcastic without being mean. I like a little mischief and nerdy things. I am drawn to passion, ambition, and confidence (not arrogance). I like people who want to go on adventures but who also enjoy hanging out at a park or strolling through neighborhoods. I like comfortable silences as well as interesting conversations. Ultimately I'm hoping to meet someone who is intellectually stimulating and of course all over amazing. (Oh, and the chemistry has to be there, obviously! For that I like some good old fashioned flirting).
What's something you want to do but haven't? Travel throughout Japan.
What songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? For someone who loves music so much this is truly hard for me to answer. I have a hard time listing all of my musical tastes and answering something like this. I know I would inevitably leave off a meaningful band to me and would realize it later and would want to come back to update this question...So, let's just say it would be a long, varied list that would be dependent on what's going on in my life.
Who’s someone you’d like to be trapped in a confined space with? How about no one? If I get to choose who I would like to be trapped in a confined space with, can't I just choose NOT to be trapped at all? How about that? That's what I choose - no traps. No confined spaces. Now, if we are talking about being on a deserted island with someone....
My radio dial is usually tuned to: NPR or KEXP if I am driving but Pandora while I'm working.
One book everyone should read is: Just one? That's nonsense. How about "Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger and "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. I'm always reading something. Have a page turner to suggest or book to avoid?
What bands do you always find yourself talking shit about? I don't. What's the point? I'd rather spend time talking about the bands I do like. That sounds way more fun.
If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life, it would be: very depressing.
My idea of a great date is one that keeps me smiling.
A fault my friends tease me about is correcting mistakes in library books.
When I was a kid, I actually owned a Atari 2600 - and I still have it.
